Harbour Pointe is a planned development of 74 lots located on the Potomac River close to the confluence with the Chesapeake Bay.

On any given day, residents are enjoying the community's amenities—tennis courts, beach and dunes, outdoor pool, and nature path—and can see eagles, herons, and river otter in Black Pond and Hack Creek and dolphins in the river.

The views from Harbour Pointe’s Potomac shoreline include Point Lookout in southern Maryland, about 7 miles away, the lights of Smith Island visible over the horizon at night, and freight traffic in the main channel of the Chesapeake Bay.

Jetties allow access to Hack Creek from the Potomac River, and vice versa, in watercraft with shallow drafts. Crabbing is a popular activity in Hack Creek among Harbour Pointe residents and those living on the other side of the creek.
